Methodology

200+ consumer-brand campaigns across DTC, app install, and SaaS verticals from January 2024 through August 2026. All data anonymized; aggregated by category and channel. Campaign-level records are excluded from publication; only aggregate benchmarks appear in the report. The methodology appendix — including inclusion criteria, outlier handling, and statistical significance thresholds — will be published in full alongside the report.

When does the report launch?
The State of AI UGC 2026 report launches in September 2026. Data collection closes August 2026. Sign up above to be notified the moment it goes live.
Is the data peer-reviewed?
The dataset and methodology are reviewed by independent researchers prior to publication. We will publish the methodology appendix alongside the report so findings can be independently verified.
Will the data be cited as a public source?
Yes — that is the explicit intent. The State of AI UGC 2026 is designed to become the canonical public reference for AI-generated UGC performance. It will carry a permanent URL, a DOI-style citation handle, and a Creative Commons license permitting citation and non-commercial reuse.
How do I cite the report once it's published?
A recommended citation block will appear on the report page at launch. The format will follow APA 7th edition:

Will there be a 2027 update?
Yes. The plan is to run this as an annual benchmark. The 2027 edition will include longitudinal comparisons against the 2026 baseline, tracking how AI UGC performance evolves as models and production tooling mature.
